LQ Publishing: Stories That Deserve to be Heard

LQ Goes Trad

With sadness we watched KU deteriorate, turning a once lucrative and well-deserved space for indie translations and authors into a tsunami of AI slop.

This doesn't only suck for authors, who are dependant on KENPs, but even more so for readers, who simply cannot find good stories anymore.

And while there are plenty amazing German publishers out there, there are none with our background and love for selfpublishers.

So, we did what was the next logical step ... and we founded LQ Publishing.

How Do You Submit Your Book?

We have opened our 2027 submissions!

Head over to www.lqbooks.com/submission to submit your book. We will review it and get back to you to discuss whether your book is a fit for our 2027 portfolio.

Please note that we might not be able to respond to every manuscript in detail, but we do promise to carefully look at all of them.

We're not looking for TikTok stars or millions of copies sold. We're looking for great writers with awesome stories that we can fall in love with :)
